READ ME: Using my Free Forex Signals

I am guessing that I will get a lot of questions about my signals, what strategies do I use, what pairs I trade, etc, so I will try and answer all of those questions here. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me by posting a comment at the bottom of this page or by using my contact page.

First off, please read the risk disclosure at the bottom of this page. If you don’t know, trading the currency markets is a risky business, even with my signals, and the potential losses could be devastating to your account balances. Gains can also be great, but that is the risk of trading Forex markets. So do so at your own risk.

That being said, my signals are a combination of strategies that I have picked up and honed including breakout strategies, daily strategies, trendline swings and more. I make most of my trades from the 60M charts (but usually check the daily charts first).

My trades are 99% technical in nature (my thoughts are that fundamentals drive the trend of the market but technical analysis is necessary for entry and exit points). Because of that, I will frequently cancel my trades for a variety of reasons such as a consolidation pattern being broken or a price break in the opposite direction or a break of a trendline. If I do I will make every effort to either A) Update the post so at the bottom it says the orders have been cancelled or B) post an entry stating that they signal has been cancelled or both.

I want to make it known though that it is not my responsibility to notify you if I cancel a trade. Remember, trading is risky business and you do so at your own risk. If you place an order based on my signal and don’t cancel it when I do because I don’t notify you, or because you are not in a spot where you can get to a computer, or for any reason it is not my responsibility. Please read the risk disclosure at the bottom of this page. Trading is a risky business and you do so at your own risk. By using my signals or reading my page you are acknowledging that you have completely released me, my website and my company from any liability or losses you may incur. If you are not alright with that then don’t read my website, trade my signals or read anything I right?

Sorry for all the serious talk but trading Forex is serious business and I want you to be aware of that. It is not “easy money” like they make it seem on TV. Besides, take it as a positive: it is just more reason for you to learn currency trading yourself so you can trade your own signals and you don’t have to rely on me!

Back to the info…

For simplicity sake I try to use GMT time as my standard because that is what most of the market news uses and that is what I set my computer too. I live in MST so it can get confusing sometimes. If you are confused just look at the chart I posted or ask me by posting a comment.

As far as the pairs I trade I mainly trade the majors, but also trade:

EUR/USD
GBP/USD
USD/JPY
AUD/USD
USD/CAD
USD/CHF
GBP/JPY (though not frequently because spreads are too big for my liking)
NZD/USD

Again, these are the majority of my trades but I venture out now and again.

You will notice that most of my trades have relatively tight stops: 25 pips, 30 pips, 35 pips. That is intentional. Most of the big guys use huge stops: 100 pips or more! Sure you might be able to achieve a slightly higher success rate but us little guys don’t want to lose $1000 or more on a trade! So I developed my strategies and use strategies with pairs where I feel that a 25-35 pip stop will be more than enough to cover my limits. On most of my trades I use two lots. The first limit (or L1) is equal to the stop. When the first limit (L1) is reached I move the stop on the second lot up to break even (BE) for a risk-free trade that hopefully reaches the second limit (L2).

Remember, trading is risky but I hope my site helps you along the way!

Best,

Mark

P.S. Remember, hope is not a strategy!

please could you send me free signal on 15 min chart.

  • admin

Ken, I don’t trade on the 15M charts because I find the signals too unreliable and therefor too hard to make profit consistently at that level. I used to do 60M charts but even those aren’t as reliable as the 4H charts. The larger the time frame the more reliable the technical analysis. You could the multiple time frame strategy. I’ll try and make time to write up an article on that.

Please could you send me free signals to improve my trading skills?

  • Clement

I donn’t usually understand your signal. That where to enter a trade, place a stop and a TP from your signal. Please, help me out.

  • Clement,

A lot of times with the technical analysis I don’t give the exact entry/exit points because the best entry/exit points are based on candlestick signals and trade confirmations which you can’t forecast. I’m planning on writing an article on how to see those signals but haven’t had time lately.

    Howdy Mate,

I’ve been bitten so many times,I just do not know what to do or who to turn to.

I’ve come across your site by sheer luck, and although I’ve yet to receive your signals, I hope to goodness that this time I’ll have some joy. If I do I’ll be ever so grateful to you; if I don’t, I promise not to hold you in any way responsible for it.

    Cheers buddy

    • I have been watching your signals over the past weeks and I noticed you only trade EUR/USD ,is there any …

Hi Alex, glad to have you here. I trade a lot of different currencies – I only post my analysis of the EUR/USD due to time constraints. This is a free site so I can’t spend ALL of my time posting my analysis ;). In the future though I’m looking at expanding the amount of pairs I post. Which pairs are you most interested in?

  • Susan

Hi Mark-Happy New Year 2010 to you. Just last week I found your site and I’m looking forward to following it this year. If you expand your analysis here how about the cable, aussie dollar, or eur/jpy. Thanks for all you do…this looks like a fantastic site for those interested in all things forex. Susan
