Eur
No candle signal took a short at 3488 and at 3468. It turned at 45 pips and shot up. I had an open tp as all seems good to go down to 3300. Luckily I brought sl to b/e 3488 lost 20 pips on 2nd order. Greediness will get me nowhere

Long time no trade
Yesterday 20 April I took some time off and placed 3 orders

Eur/usd

I predicted a rally between R1 & R2 being 3500 & 3540
I had an manual pending sell order and I followed the market with 20 pips. It took the order at 3500 and closed it at 3460 as the TP did not work .. so I lost a few but managed 40 pips.

Eur/usd
Placed a second sell order at 3480 and closed it with 17 pips

Gbp/usd

It bounced off the R1 and placed a sell order at 5400 closed with 40 pips

I've got to reload the MT4 as something is corrupt.

Today I was busy with manhole covers and missed the nice down swing. Oh well so it goes:(

Today I took 2 trades
Saw a turnaround between pivot and R1 put a pending sell order in at 3400 and attended a meeting. I predicted a Tp at 3320 and 3280. At 3340 the market went sideways and I have to finish off the manhole covers so I rather took my profit than to settle for a lesser sl. Closed the first for 60 pips and the 2nd order at 3350 .. closed for 10 pips. It did want to move further so it's no use hanging around.

darn the manholes
re-entered at 3334 6 pips below closure now at 50 pips
re-entered at 3318 after my inital target of 3320 was hit now at 34 pips. Prediction on H4 & daily 3210

THe darn mafia took me by surprise. I'm glad I had my sl to a nice profit 32 pips and the second at b/e. It's all this orders for a long so we make it tempting for the white shirts to hook the greedy. Anyway I;ve re-entered as we are going down

So I re-entered again at 3300
It lost steam so I closed for 1Pip
I'm out at Friday and really I've got reload the software.

Today I missed the beginning of the short by about 30 pips but decided the trend was still strong
entered at 3350 targets were 3300/3290/3260
entered short again at 3327. This one I closed for 18 pips as the market seemed at that stage to loose steam

I had to leave and as the 1st target was hit decided to close the first trade for 43 pips

Yesterday's trade
In line with Mark's trading idea I took 3 longs and for a change applied good money management otherwhise I would have been in a fix

long at 3300 closed with 8 pips as the market became volatile before the news at 13:00 gmt .. it spiked down and caught me unawares. I had a target of 50 pips. Just 9 pips before the target it went down like crazy.
long at 3310 TP at 3340 for 30 pips
long at 3318 TP at 3330 fir 12 pips
50 pips profit. Tomorrow I will rather wait for rally and go short

I posted that the pivot will be the turning point and hoped I was right. Ja more or less.
BUT IT WILL TURN OUT TO BE A BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK. (GREEDY BASTARD)
I posted:"Current target for a short H1 is 3145 … 3090" (It turned at 3113)
I DID NOT PUT THE TP DOWN .. KEPT IT OPEN ..MISTAKE no 1

Placed 4 shorts
1 13220 The market did not move as anticipated so I got "gatvol" and closed it for 12 pips. (MISTAKE NO 2) I kept the others open. I decided to go and relax and have a cold one or three. On my return it went right down. Had I not closed this order I would have had 100+ pips. NOW I WAS REALLY @#$%. I should have closed the balance of the orders immediately, but no, greediness stepped it. The market went up at a quick pace and I managed to close the remainder of the orders
2 3200 closed for 43 pips
3 3180 closed for 23 pips
4 3159 closed for 2 pips
I SHOULD HAVE STUCK TO MY TRADING PLAN!!

No candle signal today purely resistance trading. Followed the market with a 20 pip diff
Took a sell at 3250 target 3190
took another 2 lot sell at 3230
In a volatile market I could not manage much and luckily closed the the 1st for 22 pips and the 2nd for 1 pip each

I could have made more on the up than on the down. Looks like the pivot will not change much and as the PIGS debt situation are being discounted in the market it might be that I will start looking for dips

Yes was right in my analysis of yesterday. For the last 3 days the daily closing was higher than prev.
I regret that I missed the dip .. too early for me

MAY 2010

Greece took their package over the weekend. During the Asian trade e/u fell by 100 pips. I was snoozing so I missed it. Took 2 lots at 3240 long .. trade in a very narrow range closed for 1 pip each.

Short at 3215 and 3190 after a sustained break of S1 target was 3135 but it just went past S2 and made a uturn. Closed 1st with 35 pips and 2nd 10 pips

long at 3180 5 pips above S2 moved sl to b/e tp 3230, but I was snoozing and it moved to 3214 and took the sl at b/e
