Trading for March 2010
1 March
I spent most of the day out in the sun.
It seemed that I missed the initial run on the eur/usd, so I turned to the eur/gbp my favorite pair purely because of the pip value. The trend is long but I could not resist the 11:30 candle and went short at .9096 which eventually proved a good trade for 100 pips. Pity I did not follow it through as it lost steam and I could not watch it as most of the trades nowadays so I closed it with 30 pips profit. Anyway it's a positive 1st trade as oppose to Feb.

18 MARCH
Nearly finished with the house.
Took a long at 3634 and after a 43pip loss I closed it as the bullish reversal did not hold.

19 March
short at 3591 and closed at 75 pip profit. I wanted to stay in and see what will happen next week and on second thoughts the 75 pips might not be enough to cover a reversal

Hi to all Piphut Community Friends (PCF''s.)
No I haven't passed away, but I'm nearly out of pocket.. so I need to do some heavy trading.
It feels good to be missed. I sure did miss all the chats and trading ideas and of course the trading. I managed a couple but not to a great extend. I never missed the forum but could not read all the comments though.

I like to share with you what we've been doing since 10 Jan. But first some history .. we bought this old Victorian house because my wife liked the front stoep (never listen to your wife.. she's going to bring you to the point of no return (She must have read the book "How to manage your manager")). Origanally it was a weekend project (in my mind), but to my surprise my wife had other plans. When I transfered the property in our name she put our house in Melkboschstrand in the market. That sold very quickly and we had to move to Porterville even though my practice was 150km (94 miles) away.
We got hold of a local builder ( who is currently is jail) I need not say more ..
The following pics are just to show how looked like in 2004. As I can't load more than three . In the following post I'll post pics of how it looked like when we moved in during March 2005

Well to fix all to boo boos of the builder I spent too much of my time. In any case the wooden flooring could not be fixed anymore.
So from Jan 10 we ripped out the old flooring and replaced it with concrete and laminated flooring. During this time my wife and I had to camp in the caravan in the outside garage Inside we had to attend to bad workmanship. We decided to tackle the outside and get it over and done with. We changed the color of the roof to counter the heat. All is not done .. I've got to take of the plaster in the washing room and replaster and paint. But at least I have a bit of time to trade.. at least we had a reputable builder this time.
Thanks for your interest and enquiries

25 March
Entered 2 trades on the eur/usd both taken at b/e at 3345.
What I find most frustrating is that trading after our normal daylight hours when the market seems to move is braking in with our relaxing time of day. I will have accept that or trade against the trend which will be either non profitable or most frustrating.
Both trades were good but in the beginning it led me to think that they ara going nowhere. Later it came alive but by that time I was already in bed
