New CandlePRO v5 (beta) Contest!

We are running another CandlePRO v5 contest, and the winner once again gets a free month of memberhip! This is the second (and probably the last) contest we will run for some time as we plan on coming out of beta after this contest!

What is this contest?

A new contest to discover any bugs in CandlePRO v5 (currently still in beta)? Specifically, we are looking for any errors or bugs you see in the computation of the backtesting. For every bug you discover you get a point! The user with the most "points" after when the contest ends wins!

How do I get points?

For example, if the backtester says that the SL was hit on a trade but it doesn't look like it was to you, then that is a bug! Send it in and get a point in the contest! This is just an example of the type of bug we are looking for, there might be other types too! We sincerely hope that you find zero bugs because that would mean we are the first programmers ever to write bug-free code but in reality we expect a few to be found. Even if it seems like a small thing to you, send it in - we will take a look at it and, if nothing else, you will gain a better understanding of the software.

Why is this a contest?

Two reasons: 1) by making this into a contest, we hope you'll take the time to get aquainted with the new v5, what is has to offer, and learn it inside and out. The better you know the software the more you will benefit from it. 2) If, in the process, you do discover any bugs or glitches, we certainly want to know about them so we can improve the end product. It is what we call a win-win :).

When does the contest end?

This Friday, May 20th, at midnight (UTC)! So take a few minutes, or preferably a few hours, dig in and let us know what you find!

Have fun, and you can send your bugs to support@piphut.com! Please include the URL to the strategy you are testing!

Thanks,

PipHut Team
