This article deals with email alerts for CandlePRO. If you are looking for Swing Trading email alerts, click here.

One of the keys to succeeding with any trading system is to enter in a timely fashion. As they say: you snooze, you lose. Of course in the real world not everyone has time to stare at their computer all day every day. You have a life, maybe even a day job - which makes timely entries all the more important. CandlePRO makes life easy with Email Alerts.

To setup email alerts, start by visiting the CandlePRO Alerts page. It will look something like this:

Quick Setup: To start receiving email alerts for ALL CandlePRO signals simply skip to step 3 and click the "Activate" button next to the "All Candles" saved alert that is in your account when you signup. By default when you signup your login email is already verified. You are ready to go!

To setup your custom alert (recommended), backtest your strategy or change your email address follow these steps:

Step 1: Verify your email address

When you signup for PipHut PRO your account email is automatically verified and added to the system. To change the email address where you receive alerts click the "Change Email" button. If your carrier supports it you can receive the alerts as text messages following the instructions here.

Step 2: Set up your alerts

Here is the real power of the alerts - you can setup any candlestick strategy you want (instead of just receiving a deluge of signals) and only receive those signals. Once you are happy with your selections click the "Save this Signal" button.

You can also backtest your strategy to see how it has performed historically. Note: you can only backtest one timeframe at a time (and really you should do one pair at a time for best accuracy) as the TP and SL between timeframes can differ greatly. Click the "Backtest" button:

To take it one step further you can tweak your strategy by backtesting ANY TP, SL and Pullback value you want! Click the "Test your own TP and SL" button and enter your values:

Step 3: Activate your alert

Once you have saved an alert it goes into your "Saved Alerts" list. To begin receiving notifications you need to activate that alert. Simply find the strategy you want to activate and click the "activate" button. It will then move into your "Active alerts" list. You are done!
